FAQ Course and exam registrations

What deadlines do I have to be aware of?

The registration for courses you want to take in the following semester is usually open in the last week of the previous semester and in the week before the start of the next semester. The registration for graded exams is always in the fourth week of the lecture period. For non-graded exams you have until the beginning of January. (But you might want to register for those at the same time so you do not forget :-)). Within the registration periods you can opt-in and out of courses and exams as you wish, opting-out of an exam you registered for outside of the registration period is more difficult. The exact dates may vary, make sure to check them. For information see here.

Don't forget to register for the next semester. Registration is possible from January 15th to February 15th for the summer semester, and from June 1st to August 15th for the winter semester. This is also done in HISinOne, where can also opt-in to be registered automatically for each semester.
