Language competence II Acquiring further language skills, e.g. through courses offered by the SLI or by the departments contributing to the study program or by other philological departments
Research topics in linguistics Possible topics include:
  • grammar of individual languages
  • linguistic variation and its sociolinguistic embedding
  • language change
  • pragmatics
  • language contact
  • neuro-and psycholinguistics
  • language and cognition

3rd Semester

  • Broadening and deepening a linguistic subfield of the student’s own choice
